KEY LEARNING

What is the Little Artist Program? Introduces families to the creative process through playful, hands-on experiences Explores foundational art and science concepts Open-ended invitations to encourage exploration of a wide range of materials and tools Multiple art science stations thats are thoughtfully curated for children to explore at their own pace Paint is a big favourite—because kids can’t get enough of it—but we also dive into the fun of printmaking, drawing, building, and crafting with all sorts of exciting materials! Children are free to move between stations, immersing themselves in the joy of discovery and self expression.

Learning Through Art & Science Play: Activities & weekly themes support age-appropriate skill development Younger children practise foundational skills like forming shapes (e.g., circles) Older children explore pattern work and more detailed creative tasks Collaborative projects encourage teamwork and shared creativity Independent activities help build confidence and creative independence Just like school, some activities are repeated or presented in new ways to reinforce learning and inspire fresh discoveries

Each Session Supports Key Developmental Skills: - Fine and gross motor skills - Hand-eye coordination - Spatial awareness - Social interaction and communication - Imaginative thinking - Experimentation and problem-solving

Social & Emotional Development: A welcoming space to make new friends—for both children and parents Encourages sharing, turn-taking and gentle social interaction Builds self-confidence, especially for quieter children Fosters emotional safety and trust in a calm, nurturing environment
