LITTLE ART BIG ART: TERMS, CONDITIONS & PRIVACY POLICY

Welcome to Little Art Big Art! We can’t wait to get creative with your family. To keep our studio running smoothly and safely, please review our studio guidelines below. By booking with us, using our studio, or browsing our website, you agree to these terms.

PART 1: GENERAL STUDIO POLICIES

1. Enrolments & Getting Ready for Class

All bookings are processed online through our website and are confirmed once payment is received.

The Right Fit: Please ensure you enrol your child in the correct age group so they get the most out of the program.
Keep Us in the Loop: Make sure your emergency contact details are always up to date.
Medical Needs: If your child has allergies or a medical plan, please arrange a time to discuss this with our teachers via our contact page before their first visit.
Staying Healthy: If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them home to rest and protect our other little artists.
NDIS Families: If you are claiming through NDIS, please follow our specific NDIS enrolment instructions and ensure payment terms are met.

2. Child Safety & Parent Attendance

Your child’s safety is our absolute priority, and we adhere to Victoria's child protection laws and Social Services Regulator (SSR) guidelines.

Drop-Off Classes: To comply with safety regulations, parents and guardians cannot stay in the studio during designated drop-off sessions.
Staying On-Site: If you need to remain on-site during a drop-off class, you must pre-arrange this with our teachers and provide a valid Victorian Working With Children Check (WWCC) and any required SSR clearances.

3. Class Times & Pick-Up

Our teachers need time to clean up all the beautiful, messy art and reset for the next group!

Timings: For a 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM program, doors open at 9:00 AM and pick-up is strictly by 12:00 PM.
Late Pick-Ups: We kindly ask that you arrive on time. A late pick-up fee between $10 and $100 will apply to cover our teachers' overtime.

4. Payments

As a small business, prompt payments are essential for us to purchase art supplies, staff our studio, and keep our programs running smoothly. We offer several ways to secure your spot:

Direct Debit: BSB: 063 571 | Account: 1044 0703 (Little Art Big Art PTY LTD). Reference your: Invoice/Order Number & Participant Name. Email us your receipt so we can confirm your spot.
PayID: Use ABN 24660623745. Reference your: Invoice/Order Number & Participant Name. Email us your receipt so we can confirm your spot.
Cash: Paid directly at the studio.
Invoice: If you require manual invoicing, a $20 administration fee applies.

5. Cancellations, Refunds, Transfers & Missed Classes

As a small studio, we carefully prepare materials and staff our sessions just for you! Because we keep our groups small and process-led, fees are non-refundable, and we are unable to offer refunds, credits, or catch-up sessions if you miss a class, workshop, or party.

If We Cancel: If we ever have to cancel a session, we’ve got you covered with a full refund, credit, or alternative option.

6. Studio Etiquette, Liability & Media

Dress for Mess: Art is messy business! We have art smocks available, but please dress your child in older clothes. While we try to use non-toxic materials wherever possible, some supplies will stain, and we cannot take responsibility for damaged clothing.
Liability: By participating, you agree to take full responsibility for any damages, personal injuries, or property damage that may occur during our classes.
Say Cheese: We love sharing our artists' creations! If you do not want your child or yourself photographed or filmed, please notify us in writing and notify the teacher. Photos and media are used for Little Art Big Art's promotional use.

PART 2: PARTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

(The General Studio Policies above also apply to all party bookings)

1. Booking Confirmations & Guest Numbers

Enquiries: To book, please complete the required Studio or Mobile Party Enquiry Form. We aim to respond within 1-3 days.
Final Numbers: Final guest numbers must be confirmed 10 days prior to your party date. All packages are priced for 10 children (including the birthday child). Additional guests will incur a per-child fee.
Room Capacity: Our party rooms have a maximum legal capacity. We strictly allow only one adult per guest (alongside the birthday child's parents). All adults must RSVP so we can monitor overall studio numbers. We reserve the right to refuse extra guests if room capacity is exceeded.

2. Party Payments & Cancellations

Booking Fee: A $150 non-refundable booking fee is required within 3 days of confirmation to secure your date and time. This is deducted from your final cost. If your party is within 7 days, full payment is required upfront.
Final Payment: The balance of your party package and any extras must be paid 7 days prior to the event. Failure to pay may result in cancellation. Payments are final and non-refundable for cancellations or "no-shows". Payment is regarded as acceptance of these terms.
Sunday Surcharge: Party bookings made on Sundays will incur a 10% surcharge.
Postponements: If you need to postpone, we require 10 days' notice to avoid extra charges. Date transfers are subject to availability, staffing, and a transfer fee.
Sudden Illness: We understand that little ones can catch bugs at the last minute. If the birthday child falls suddenly ill right before the event, please contact us immediately. While payments and booking fees remain non-refundable, sudden medical postponements are handled at the studio's discretion on a case-by-case basis.

3. Food, Cake & Decorations

Decorations: Our studio is already vibrant and filled with art, but you are welcome to add special touches. If you require extra set-up/pack-up time, this must be pre-booked for a fee.
Food Policy: You may bring cake, lolly bags, and extra nut free food. We have a strict policy that everyone (including adults) must use a plate and sit down to eat in the Rainbow Room only. If you have booked catering and have specific dietary needs, please advise upon booking.
Cake Timing: We suggest serving cake 20 minutes before your finish time. If you run out of time, cake must be sent home. We provide a knife and cake server, but please bring your own takeaway containers (studio containers are available for an additional cost).

4. Party Day Logistics & Safety

Arrival & Departures: Please adhere strictly to your booked opening and closing times. Ensure children are supervised when entering/exiting, as the door opens directly into the carpark.
Studio Rules: We are a working art studio with supplies and artwork on open shelves. Please only use your designated rooms and do not touch displays. If a child wanders, please redirect them to your party space. Any breakages or damage to artworks or supplies will incur a damage fee. Use of unassigned rooms will also incur a fee.

PART 3: LEGAL, COPYRIGHT & PRIVACY POLICY

1. Terms of Use & Copyright

This website (www.littleartbigart.com.au) and its content are owned by Rachael F Morris trading as Little Art Big Art Pty Ltd (ABN 24 660 623 745). Your use of this website constitutes your agreement to be bound by these terms.

Intellectual Property: All workshop content remains the property of the Little Art Big Art teachers. Please respect this by not copying or reproducing programs for profit. If sharing our work, please credit Little Art Big Art and provide a link.

2. Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. Little Art Big Art is committed to providing excellent customer service and is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and all applicable Australian Privacy Principles.

Collection of Information: We only collect the personal information necessary to run our classes safely (e.g., contact details, medical information, shipping addresses) using clear opt-in forms.
Sharing of Information: We never sell your data. We may occasionally hire trusted partners (like payment processors or freight shippers) to provide services on our behalf. They are permitted to obtain only the information necessary to deliver the service and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Use of Information & Technology: When you visit our site, we expressly collect non-personally identifiable information (browser type, pages viewed, etc.) to gauge traffic and improve our website. We occasionally use automated systems or AI tools to help run our business (like sending booking confirmations). You can always ask for a human to review automated decisions that affect you.
Security & Breaches: We use strong digital security to keep your information safe. If a serious data breach occurs, we have a response plan in place and will immediately notify you and the appropriate authorities.
Your Rights: You have the right to access, correct, or ask us to delete your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. Requests should be made in writing via our contact page, and we will respond within 30 days. We reserve the right to charge a small fee for searching for and providing access to your information.
Policy Changes: We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time.
