Rainbow splash for Little Art Big Art

- Little Art Big Art

Rachael's motto and mission.

Little Art Big Art runs art classes, school holiday programs, event workshops and art parties throughout the year for people of all ages.

We are currently seeking an energetic, responsible and reliable person to support a lead teacher for such classes and programs, particularly for our children’s art programs at our Altona North Studio. This entails supporting the artists with their art skills delivered by the lead teacher, gathering art supplies for the artists, helping with the setup and clean up of the sessions and encouraging a positive creative mind set. Ideally, you will be an arts enthusiast and also possess the knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to teach arts activities. You should be willing to work independently and also in a team environment. Most essential however, is an enthusiasm for working with children. We embrace our motto “Imagine, Create, Celebrate’ and want children to have fun whilst they develop their art skills and creative ideas. We do host mobile workshops and parties, so some travel may be involved (but also may not be required-it is not essential if you are unable to support our mobile events).

The position is for casual work for weekends and holidays, with the opportunity of fixed weekly classes occurring after school hours. Rate of pay will vary depending on your qualifications. Experience in assisting with art programs and  working with children is desirable. Applicants will be required to have a current Working with Children’s Check if working with children.  Please send an email with your CV to us
