Service Description

Senior Drawing & Painting Club focuses on developing drawing and painting skills and is open for ages 9-15 years.  Our Senior Artists Program is open for children aged 9-13 years. It is designed to help artists develop and enhance their visual and fine art techniques in a range of art areas such as drawing, painting, sculpting and construction, printing making and textile creating. Our Artists will learn how to plan and record ideas and art learnings in a visual art journal and learn to manipulate and use various art materials. Artists will engage in various project work that make connections with their ideas, as well as art projects teachers may present to them. Projects may focus on a combination of art concepts or solely on one art form. We draw inspiration from local and famous artists as we learn about different art forms and how art is created. During each session, artists will be mentored depending on their skill level and group discussion and feedback will end each session with parents welcomed to join this discussion.  Throughout the year, artists are invited to partake in exhibitions and competitions and correspondence will be emailed out. Artists receive an art pack applicable to our class. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Classes run weekly, dates coincide with the school term calendar.
