Senior Drawing & Painting Club focuses on developing drawing and painting skills and is open for ages 9-15 years.

Artists will deepen their drawing and painting knowledge as we explore a range of techniques through observation of varied subject matter and learn about various key concepts such as shading, perspective, contouring, composition and gesture. They will learn about key drawing elements of line, shape, value, tone, texture, space and colour and explore art principles of balance, repetition, rhythm, scale, proportion, contrast, movement and depth.

Artists will develop their drawing skills through exploration of varied drawing materials such as charcoal, markers, fine liner, pencil, graphite and pastels. They will also enjoy exploring the world of paint and experiment with acrylics, oils, watercolour and more.

During each session, artists will be mentored depending on their skill level and group discussion and feedback will end each session with parents welcomed to join this discussion.
