Artists will explore a range of sculpting, cermanic and textile techniques to create unique three dimentional artworks and hangings. Artists are taught how to plan, design, change and create their ideas as well as problem solve when creations don't go to plan. Artists are mentored and individual art techniques are enhanced. Throughout the year, artists are invited to partake in exhibitions and competitions.

This will be a course that continue throughout the year, so skills will continue to built on with the sewing machine coming out in term 2. Kiln firing will also occur once our kiln arrives in either late term 1 or term 2.

Our Sculpting, Ceranmic & Textile program is open to the older primary and high school ages due the the fine motor techniques involved.

Amanda will join Rachael during this class. Amanda will share her textile skills with the group, whilst Rachael will share various mixed media projects with the artists. Artists will have a choice of which projects they engage in, embracing our Little Art Big Art belief that we are free to imagine, create, celebrate!
